When people see alittle kid, often they greet them withso much kindness, so muchexcitement. Whydoesn't this happen when adults see other adults.... the kid is still in there? Just a little taller with a few more lessons in life.
Often we put up walls to other humans before we have even had an opportunity to interact with them. Most of the time this is just a habit we have been practising over and over again which is why it feels normal to sit on a train and avoid eye contact with all people.
So, the next time you see a person - imagine they were 5 - how would you respond to eye contact? Would you smile? How would you treat them?
If they were being silly would you have a little more patience?
Just a thought to think and a think to thought... :)
